Professor Manish Chand joins the OstomyCure clinical study
Fantastic to welcome Professor Manish Chand, Consultant Colorectal Surgeon & Professor of Surgery at University College London, to the clinical evaluation of our TIES® implant
Professor Chand said, ‘The prospect of a stoma bag can have a big impact on the lives of many patients both practically and in terms of their mental health. It is important that we can reassure our patients that it is possible to continue to enjoy life to the fullest. I am therefore keen to see how OstomyCure’s TIES® implant can improve quality of life measures and be a great option for certain patients’.
Professor Chand is a highly experienced specialist surgeon and global key opinion leader in the field of colorectal surgery, colorectal cancer and robotic surgery.
He is at the forefront of medical innovation and we are honoured for him to be trialling our TIES® technology with his patients.
