OstomyCure continues clinical trial to fully evaluate its TIES implant
We are delighted to announce that our clinical trial for our TIES implant has now been initiated at hospitals in the UK, Sweden, Poland, Austria and India.
With the TIES implant, we are aiming to transform the lives of people with an ileostoma and enable them to take back control of their lives.
The clinical trial will be crucial in establishing the safety and performance of the technology, as well as achieving regulatory approval for the device.
‘Initiating the clinical trial for our TIES implant is a crucial milestone for the development of the technology. The safety and performance data from the trial will enable us to secure regulatory approval for the device. We are incredibly grateful to the patients and clinical teams taking part’. Dr Johan Jarte, CEO, Ostomy Cure.

Thank you

ReplyCan you give any thoughts on when trials may come to the US? Lifelong ostomate and this is the first alternative I’ve ever been super excited about! I know it all takes a great deal of time and paperwork though. Even if I can’t get it for years I’ll be first in line!
ReplyThis is an exciting option for ostomates. Interested in clinical studies, or surgical opportunities in North America (esp. Canada). Wishing you all the best success in getting this to market and, hopefully, attaining reimbursement/coverage in the future.
